Greetings. I have misplaced my naturalization certificate and am going to file N-565 soon. I have some questions about this:
1. I have a copy of my naturalization certificate and will attach it to the form. Will I need to attach other documents like US passport/passport card to prove my citizenship?
2. After I file the form, will I receive a receipt confirmation by postal mail that USCIS is processing the application (like they did when I filed N-400)?
2. Will I need to get fingerprinted again?
3. Will the replacement document have a different citizenship number from my original certificate?
4. Will the replacement document mention the fact that it is a replacement or will it be just like any other naturalization certificate?
I would appreciate any answers and am grateful in advance for any help. Thank you!
