My friend accepted a new job on the 16th with intent to use AC21. His 485 got approved on the 18th. He got card in mail on the 24th.
To accept job, he sent back the offer letter to new employer with email signature.
The new job starts on the 18th of next month.
Can he leave his current employer now or should he wait one month or so. Can he have break in employment and just sit home until the 18th? Does he have to send anything to USCIS?
