My first FP was messed up. I called VSC, and they told me that my FP status is ‘Unclassified’, that is they cannot read my FP. I have to redo it. The IIO was not sure when I am going to get my next notice, it may take couple of months, she said. As I have already completed 3 months after my first FP, instead of waiting another two months for the next notice, I went to local INS office. I got two copies of FP notice, and I went with the second copy this time. When I explained them the problem they gladly took my FP. She explained me that if there is any problem with your first FP, you can always take another FP with the second copy of first notice.
Today I checked, my FP is through after 2 weeks.
