Hi
I am hoping to file my I485 soon. (EB2, India, PD-Feb 15, 2000)
I recently went to India and I guess my expired I94 card(with expiry date Jan 2000) in my passport was taken away by the airlines. Is it true that expired I94 cards will be removed from the passport when we leave the country? On my return, I got a new I94 card which has expiry date as Jun 2002. Is this card enough for my I485/GC process?
Thank you very much for your replies!

Yes, I think the last I94 is good enough for Green Card. You do NOT the other I94\'s.

Anyway, when I went for my passport stamping it was done in 2 mins. The lady just took the I94s and stamped my passport. She did not even look at the I94s carefully.

I did not have all my I94s for the stamping and had only the last one.

When you leave the country the last I94s are taken and when you enter again a new one is given. Standard procedure.

I think everytime you leave the country, I-94 is taken away from you. You are given a new one everytime you enter. So, you should be fine.
