REP Renewal

How long before its expiry can we apply for renewal of REP? My wife's REP expires 08/2012. Can she apply for renewal in 03/2012.

If applying for renewal of the reentry permit before the expiration of the existing one, the existing one must be submitted with the renewal application. See the I-131 instructions for details. Remember that it is necessary for the applicant to be in the US when submitting the application (including when USCIS receives it).
