Renunciation Question - Please help

I have received my USA citizenship during month of July 2009. Now, I am planning to apply for my OCI card and found out that we Renunciation certificate. My jurisdiction is San Francisco. Can I apply for Renunciation along with my OCI application? Or do I need to get my Renunciation certification first and then apply for OCI card? Please help.

Based on the various threads going around in this sub-forum. The wisdom is first the Certificate, and then the OCI.
