Rentry on AP question

Would it be problem to te-enter the US with AP and EAD if I don't work currently?

I have to go to home country for 6 weeks. I have already made arrangements. At the last minute, somebody told me they might ask about my work at the port of entry and it would be risky.

I am confused. Should I cancel my trip? Any advise? Anybody with the same experience?
 
He cant arrange for EVL as he doesnt work. There is a possibility that the agent can ask regarding your employment. You should answer truthfully. This is by itself not grounds for denial of entry; but remember you are at the mercy of the particular agent. If it is not very urgent it is a good idea to avoid travel.

Ok .. arrange for EVL means .. contact your previous employer, explain him the situation .. and see if he bites.
