Dear all,
I am in US on H1B (my wife on H4), our visa stamps on the passport have expired. We do have visa extension for another year with valid I797 and I94 (that comes attached with I797 at the bottom with new dates).We also have a valid Canada visas.
We have some urgent work in Toronto but don't have time to take a visa appointment at US consulate and get the stamping done.
My question is: Can We cross over to Canada in the morning, do our work and by evening reenter US from Canada with Expired Visa but New and valid I-797/I-94?
If anybody has similar experience or advise, please help me out...
