Renewing EAD & Home Address is going to change!

Hi,
My EAD & AP are expiring August end, so does my apartment lease. For some reason I will not be able to renew my apartment lease and have to move to a different apartment.

If I renew my EAD/AP, What happens if I move out when the EAD/AP documents are sent, do they get forwarded? can I give a different address like my office address or friends address?

Also I read in past posts that we have to attach the copy of "EAD mailer" with the application form. What is EAD Mailer?

Kindly advice.

Thanks

This info is on the USCIS site. Basically you have to submit the regular change of address form, but you also must call the NSC to change the address on pending applications. When you call they will tell you that you can only change the address if you have actually moved already. Not sure if this is true, but be ready for the question. :) They'll send a letter acknowedging the change of address. If you want to call and verify, they can aparently only do that 30 days after you register the change.

Is it AR-11 Form?

Klmasters,

Thanks for the info. I think you are mentioning the AR-11 form! I did submit this form couple of times earlier, but I totally forgot about this.

Also I checked the following link with additional info.

http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/address.htm

Just one more question, they have another "AR-11 Special Registration" form, but I don't see any clear instruction on who should use this form instead of regular AR-11. Do you know which one should I use? My GC information is in the signature.

I appreciate your response.

Thanks

You're welcome for the advice. FYI I don't have any special expertise here, I just had this situation myself and am telling you what I did. So I don't know about the difference between the different AR-11s. Someone else in this forum may though. :)
