Renewing AP at Newark

My current advanced paraole will expire in a couple of weeks, and I need to go on a business trip to Europe early next month. Is it possible for me to go directly to Newark INS to renew my AP instead of sending the application to Vermont (which at least will take one month)? Thanks.

Yes, You can go to Newark ( Broad Street ) and get the parole visa. I am also going to get it in couple of days

Thanks. Do you know how long does it usually take? The automated message of Newark office says that they accept I-131, and the processing time is one month, but I have the impression that someone said on this board that if applied in person, an AP will be issued the same day, is that true?
