renewal ead not using what is my status?

i have an Ead expiring on feb 06 but i am not using the same now actually i seem to have a conflict in that , i was looking out for jobs with ead and happ to get one, went thru the training etc and later was rejected from the employer since they never accept EAD only for employment they did pay me for the training etc cut my taxes etc. i was never actually recruited since they did tell me that after my eligibility would match their policies then only theywould confirm my employment.
Thats ok recently i went to india using my H4 status and came back had no prob i hadnt applied for a Advance parole then.

I am planning to applyfor advance parole now along with my renewal ead

i do not wish to use ead now and my h4 will be expiring in feb06 too my husband is recently in ead too .. so what will my status be????
we have 485 adjustment of status pending.. which i think might take long time its so slow

can someone help me can i apply for renewal ead now and advance parole just in case i have no intention to travel now ..
and what will my status be even if i dont use ead ... ???????

From what I could understand based on this sentence ... your husband is currently using EAD - but you are not.

Your husband lost his H1 status when he used his EAD, so you are no longer in H4 status.
You cannot use the H visa stamp for traveling.

You are in "Pending AOS" status -- so your legal status is fine - you don't have to have (or use) EAD for that -- your status is based on the pending 485.
Since you don't have H4 status anymore, its wise to get AP - that would enable you to return to US after a trip abroad.

Again, if my understanding was incorrect & ur husband is still on valid H1, then you are on H4 and AP is not really needed (but advisable to have it).

thanks that cleared my doubt , yes my husband is in ead now recently so i will be applying for advance parole just incase
