How to renew EAD? anybody has any experience. If i get laid off and find another job, can I still renew EAD and work in US? How about my 485 application, is it still in progress? Thanks
 
Procedure to renew EAD

Apply using the same I-765 form and fee atleast 6 months before current EAD expires. If your I-485 is already more than 180 days (6 months) old - then I guess your GC process should not get affected. Though employer informs INS about the employee seperation, I am assuming INS would not stop the process if it is already beyond 6 months. I am also in similar dilemma, and donot know answers to some of the questions.
