Hello,
My conditional GC expired on 03/22/2020. With all this COVID-19 crap going on, I was tasked at work (working sometimes up to 15 hours a day) with making sure we were furloughing employees and taking action to prevent spread and increase overall safety measures. Additionally, I just got furloughed myself three weeks ago due to the same circumstances. This all happening at the same time in which my conditional GC expired.
I just got done filling the form for removal of condition but now I am around 15 days late (I did wrote down a letter with the reason as to why I am sending it late). Whats the likelyhood of USCIS denying my application based on that? Any insights? Also, I am sending everything to USCIS's address tomorrow, it will be overnight'ed, but I read the USCIS office is closed until May 4? Is that going to impact my application even more?
I am just trying to get some enlightenment as I am hating myself for missing the deadline.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much
