Remand date

Hi

My Labour was filed from CA on 5/15/03 & now I received letter from my attorney that its been transfered to DOL on 4/29/03. My question is

1) In what conditions does the case get remand date
2) Whats remand date

I understand that one should not get remand date as it delays the processing time.Also I would ask as how do we get to know the DOT Code for the case

I would appreciate some replies.

Remand Date is the Date when DOL Remands the LC Application (Remanded to Employer OR Remanded To State).. Not all cases get remanded, only when DOL finds the need of further advertisements / SWA work on case they send back the case to Employer/SESA... In California they did mass remand last year but now have reconsidered & Certified many of remanded cases.
