Hello,
My N400 was granted after the interview on 04/16/06.
However, I need to move to out of state as I was accepted to
graduate school. Could you please advise if it is going to be an issue?
And what do I do to attend Oath Ceremony in my new residence?
Thank you!

Options:

1. Theoretically you have to announce USCIS about your new address, and they will transfer your file to the new DO who has jurisdiction over you. It's a pain in the @$$ and it's a good chance your file may get lost and consequently...big delays

2. Don't move and wait for the oath first.

3. Keep the same address somehow, and receive the oath notification there...not exactly legal but practical...

It's your call
;)

Same case

Hi there, I had the same probleme, I had to move out of state 8 months after my interview. I called USCIS, and one of their representative suggested that at least I keep an address in the same city I used to live in, so I did. I sent a change of address form to them with a friend's address. Now still waiting for the oath :(
