Some random questions.......

What are typical questions asked by the immigration officer during the interview?

One post stated that the officer has insight into the history of all of the forms that you ever submitted to the INS.

Where does INS store your file if you are currently a LPR?

any insights?

10 History questions and verification of information provided on N-400. Your trips abroad, marriage, tax, membership in different organizations, job etc.

They have your complete file at the time of interview. This file contains every thing; the day you entered in the US to the time of your citizenship interview.

USCIS store your file in the Service Center all the time but at the time of interview they send your file to District Offices and after that I don't know what they do with the file. My guess is that they store it in the district office.

In short, they have your complete file at the time of interview and this file includes;
- Your papers as non-immigrant (like student I-20's or Visit Visa)
- Immigration forms I-140, 485 (green card process)
- All the supporting documents (birth. marriage cert., I-20s, I-94, recomendation letters etc.)
- and your N-400 application.
