i am a Kenyan DV winner by the time I got my visa i wasnt married but now I have a person i want to settle with in life. I am planning to travel to the states stay for 11/2 years come back for the maximum allowed 6 months to get married and enjoy abit then go back to the states for three years with a return home each december for holidays. and then come back home permanently rather than go through the hussle of filling petitions for the spouse and then waiting indefinately( and may be getting a child in the intervening period and then having to file his/her petition much later than her mom). Coming from one of the poorest countries in the world am hoping the relatively short stay can lay for me and my familiy then a relatively good financial position in Kenya. what is the opinion of thiose already there or those with knowledge about the USA vs Africa?
relatively short stay in the USA is it economically prudent?
