Hi people,
I just registered on this website yesterday after seeing wonderful inputs from a lot of helpful people. I am on a L1B visa and have been here in the US (NJ) for the last 3.5 years,. My employer is willing to sponsor my green-card, but the thing is it will take time (even thru RIR).. I have a first cousin who is a US citizen and he said if it is possible, he would sponsor me.. On looking at the INS website, there is no provision for a ' cousin ' to sponsor me..Am I wrong here or is there a way around it ?
Also, is it tru that GC processing is relatively faster from other states than NJ ? If so, how does one go about doing it if employed in New Jersey ? Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I am a novice at the whole thing and any kind of info would be appreciated,.
