Hey guys. My mom is an asylee and she has been petitioning my dad to get her status. It's been over a yr and we didn't hear any reply from DHS. What shld we do next... We are abt to apply for GC too..and worried we won't get any approval since my dad hasn't got approve for petition..What do y'all guys think we shld do?

So where is your father? Does he live with your mom or he lives back in home country?

Where do you live? and what is your status? Do you have asylum status with your mother or is your mother petitioning you along with your dad?

My dad lives with my mom. He came to the country using a working visa but lost it when he got laid off. I live with my mom too and I am already an asylee
