Relationship bw FP and EAD

I applied for EAD and paroll, do you think i can get these two stuffs only if my fingerprinting is done otherwise not.

I will tell you what happend in my case, My first EAD was so fast that they did not have a chance to communicate the fingerprinting data, so my first EAD was without finger prints, and It was not related to AP.
But in my second EAD, they asked me to come for FP and it was communicated and my EAD card had my FP on the card.
