Can a student get reinstated after being out of status for 2 months? I just want to fill a gap of 5 months before my H 1 kicks in from Oct 01 2005.
If I try to get reinstated into F 1 visa status will it jeoparadise my H 1 beginning Oct 01 05? Also does the reinstatement have to be from the previous school or can a new school also issue a new I-20 with which one can apply? Is the procedure of reinstatement simple or do cases get rejected also? And also is there any new update on the 20,000 new H 1 B's for the master's students?
