Region going current

Hi Guys,

I have a quick question,

what happens when a region goes current, do they call the next number as in, the OC region is currently at 1200, and my number is close to that, what happens if it goes current, do they then call 1201, 1202 and so on or anyone can get called like 1600 can get called, is there a rule behind going current?

being current simply means they are ready to interview you. If you are not, it means there are a lot more people to be interviewed or visas are not ready for your number.

Noboy knows. I know two folks with a lower CN than we have and they have their interview a week later in the same embassy.

thanks Tazmania, one more thing if you have a university degree do they check your employment history? or is it one or the other?

great , but what order do the numbers are then called in?

That’s a fair point. I reckon the quicker you send in your forms at the beginning the better. I am sure they have some system for deciding who goes first. As my CN is so high I don’t suppose I will ever see a bulletin with a cut-off above my number. I reckon I will not get an interview date till the EU region goes current some time in June or July. (fingers crossed)

intersting point does anyone think the OC region will go current next, or it will go up for next bulletin?

Hmm, I wonder whether "going current" happens to all regions at the same time? If that is the case, then no, I think OC will just increase more slowly.
