My Fiancee has an H1 B Visa appointment at the Chennai Consulate on the 30th of this Month(Nov 2005). We booked her appintment using the old TTS Visas website and did not require to pay the money at HDFC bank prior to booking the appointment. Would we have to pay the money now, before going to the consulate for the visa? Any helpful links on the relevent consulate web sites would be appreciated as I wasn't able to find anything which says that.
