Regarding Medicals

Hi All:
I am supposed to appear for Medicals as per the IA. I am given choices for 3 doctor's offices in North Jersey. However I am more close to Philadelphia.

Is there a way I can get it done from Philly? or I am supposed to go only in the offices mentioned in IA?

Any help is appreciated.

If you know any Canadian Consulate's approved doctor in Philly, then you can go for it. No issues with that. But make sure that you should go to the Candian Cosulate approved doctor ONLY!.

hi Mani/Thomas,

Can you clarify at what stage of proceesong do we need to take FBICC and PCC for canadian PR. I wanted to apply for candian PR and i'm in the process of collecting docs. In these threads i saw some posts that when you send those with your initial packet the consulate people wanted then to send it again since there applications have taken more than 6 months for IA and they had to do it again. Since you guys are already in the final stages or cleared the PR Please educate us.

Thats correct. Eventhough you submit PCC/FBI along with the initial application, they are going to ask for it again. I would suggest, apply without PCC/FBI now, wait for about 10 to 12 months, apply for PCC/FBI. By the time, IA comes you will be ready with clearences and send it immediately.
