I came to US for company XYZ on H1B in 2003 (got H1 from chennai consulate). My Visa and I-94 expired in Feb 2006. But just before that I ahd transferred VISA to company ABC and is working for client 123 now!
I got the new H1 documents from company ABC and they have given it till Jan 2009. Now I am planning to goto India and get my H1 stamped.
1) Is it compulsory that I need to goto Chennai consulate or can I goto any consulate in India
2) Can I book emergency appointment and if so how do I book emergency appointment. Is it by going to https://www.vfs-usa.co.in/frame.aspx
and chosing the option "Indian citizen resident in US" (Technically I am not a resident here, but only a temp resident on work permit and hence I am not sure if I can use this option. But it does seem to give me earlier dates)?
3) When people say you need to carry photos of your work place..do I carry photos of client office (where i work) or employer office (company holding my H1) which I've never seen
