Hello
I am pursuing an F1 visa, and my interview is coming up soon. During my application process i paid two fees: the SEVIS fee, and a generic application fee. I recieved the proof of payment for the SEVIS fee and I know to bring that to the interview, but i was never given a reciept for the application fee. I had to submit the payment through a third party service and they were able to send me a log from their system showing the payment went through, but it doesnt specify that the purpose was for the application fee.
However, ive heard mixed responses that i may not need to bring a generic application fee receipt to the interview. The .gov website is not specific enough for me to determine this for sure. Does anyone know if i only need to bring the SEVIS fee receipt or do i need to bring a receipt for every fee?
