Regarding F1 Visa Stamping on OPT

Hi all,

I came to the US on F2 visa and got it converted to F1 before joining
a masters program. Now, I am on my OPT and would like to travel to
India. I have a job offer in hand and can join in January 2006. I will
have to go to the consulate in India to get a F1 stamp on my Passport.
Will I be able to reenter the US?

I would really appreciate any feedback that you might have. Thank you!

Taking your Chances

Hi

I think it's pretty much about taking your chances. I believe it's easier if you have to go for H1-b visa stamping compared to F1..

If you have any more inputs on this one, please feel free to respond.

Good Luck!
