Regarding conversion of Regular Labor Certification cases to PERM

Hi,

I have a question regarding PERM. Since PERM is expected to go live by August 2004, is there anything that an applicant, who has filed for labor certification (regular not RIR), has to do before PERM goes live so that the regular case can be easily converted to PERM.. any idea how the regular cases will be converted to PERM?

Thanks

Seems Oct 01, 2004 is date for PERM. 'How to' party of conversion is not yet clear.

This brings up a good point.

If PERM is really implemented in October 04, would it still be possible to apply for RIR? (bearing in mind that PERM is more restrictive than RIR, this does make sense).

No Hexamon - PERM is replacement of LC.

Hi,
I work for a small organization (10-17 people). Is it recommended that I go for PERM? I have not yet filed my labor, because of this confusion. I heard somewhere that PERM is not recommended for small organizations. Is it true? Any help in this matter will be highly appreciated.
