Hi,
I am on H1b married to a USC applying using

form I 130
1. G325A (Petitioner)
2. G325A (Sponsor)

I-485

1. I-864
2. G325A (Petitioner)
3. Medical Examination Report

Now in terms of supporting documents, it has been mentioned that I need to submit a birth certificate. If I have a school leaving certificate (in English from school in India) and photocopies of my passport which do contain my date of birth. Does this work ?

I have my birth certificate however it is in my regional language (Gujarati) so I do not know if we can get it converted here in the U.S (Any Thoughts/Comments ).

Thanks in advance.

You need to send them a translated copy of the birth certificate. How you get this is another matter.

A friend of mine did it himself, and it caused no issues, but I believe that officially you're not supposed to do this. You might try this anyway, worse case scenario you get an RFE.
