Regarding 485

i filed my 485 on june 12th and my pririoty date was july 2003 which is current right now.. my question Can i travel to india in nov first week( with my AP) and return by first week of december? as my 485 date is current is that good to travel to india? any suggestions will be appricated...:)
in between if i get my 485 approval when i will be in india .. will it be a problem for u/ Please let me know.
 
It could be an issue. Refer to one of Khanna's conf call recordings where he tackles this question. I am sorry, I do not know which day the recording was for

-----YES YOU CAN TRAVEL USING AP. IF YOU ARE INDIAN MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TRANSIT VISA IF TRAVELING THROUGH EUROPE (NOT SURE OF HOLLAND AND GERMANY)

----NO PROBLEM IF YOU GET APPROVED WHILE IN INDIA. IF IN US THEN YOU HAVE TO GET PASSPORT STAMPED (GC) BEFORE LEAVING.
