My i485 has been filed under 245 (my lawyer didn't mention 245(i) or 245(K)) on May/2002. But I paid $1000 fee because I was out of status(without job) 45 days. Now my lawyer is saying I can't leave the country untill I got GC. Can anybody advice me Can I send any amendum letter regarding my case will go under 245(k) not 245.
