We got a pre approved labor, so got our H1 transferred , and based on that submitted all documents related to i-140 to the employer and he put across that they were submitted.
Question:
1) Is it true that we need not get the pre approved labor transferred to my name before submitting the i-140.
2) What sort of acknowledgement do we get from INS that they received the i-140 aplication, and if yes after how long.
Any information on the above would be highly appreciated.
