Reg Medical Exam

[3Yrs and waiting]

is it true that the medical exam we did prior to filing 485 is valid only for 2 years? I heard rumors that if it has crossed 2 years we need to redo the exam. got mine done in August 1999.I am also one of the unfortunate ones with company name change. If by august 2001(4 months only) nothing happens then will I have to redo the medical exam? does that mean further delay in processing my case??????

I am longing to see some light at the end of the tunnel....

You may be right about this. Even I have heard that the medicals are valid for a certian period of time. Not sure how much.

I don\'t think that is true. There may be a case about certain vaccincations becoming out of date because of long wait and that INS may force one to take vaccination but I never heard of redoing a "no-problem" medican test done before. I\'d love to hear from the board on the contrary.

I could be wrong, but I heard that medical exams are valid for only a year, as are the fingerprints. After a year, I am told, that you will have to repeat both. I hope I am wrong. My PD just became current. If I am wrong about the medical exam and finger print redo, I should be pretty close to the light at the end of the tunnel. My details:
