Hi guys,
i have recd FP for my wife. it has been scheduled in March 2003. do we have to go for fingerprinting on the scheduled date and time or can we go before that.

Also i haven't got mine.whenever i tried to call the INS i had to wait more than an hour on the line, got fed up and disconnected.
can anyone tell me please if you and your spouse got FP notice on the same date or at different times.

i would appreciate your replies. Thanks

FP notices

My wife received her FP 3 months after mine, and mine didn't come until 6 months after our I485s were submitted.

You can also ask your lawyer to send a fax enquiry.

plymouth i haveanother question. do i need to call the local INS and get an appointment for early FP.

I have heard number of cases in which ppl gets there FP done before date and also either of one did not received the notice from INS. So I would say go to local application support center and talk to supervisor that I have not received my FP notice but my spouse did. But I am not sure in that case you will be able to do it before date.

So I would say wait till your wife's date and if you don't receive notice by that date then go with your wife and try. It happens in past I have seen.

No need to take appointment for FP from local INS, you need to go to application support center.

Meanwhile try calling INS, there is nothing to loose.

we went to the ASC today and got FP done for my spouse. when i spoke to them he said that they wont do FP for me without the notification from INS.
thanks to this forum and u all.
even my lawyer didn't care to tell us that we can do early Fp when we sent them email about the FP notification.

if they ask for paystubs (RFE) do we have to send the original or the copies?
