Refugee Travel Document Outside USA

My asylum was approved in Oct, 2004 and I-485 filed Oct, 2005.

In September, 2008, I had to go back to Pakistan because of a death in the family but did so on a Pakistani passport. I am now residing in Pakistan and want to go back to the USA. Can I apply for a refugee travel document with the US Embassy in Pakistan?

did you use your pakistan passport when you left the state?

I am not sure you can apply travel documents from your country. don't stay your country more than 6 month. you can use your passport when you came back from your country. make sure you bring all the documetation death certficets or other documents. I went my country last year and I didn't have any problem.
