Refrence Question and Employment letter ....

My ND 09/00 and got reff. on Aug 02 for Employment letter and six months pay slip. My current company already sent Employer letter to Attorney and I did pay slips.
Here is the scenerio: I came to USA company (A) and I-129 is valid from 08/15/1997 to 08/01/00 but in between I changed company (B) and got I-129 valid from 06/23/98 to 02/06/01 I started processing GC through company B and stay with them all the time. I got the experience letter from company (A) till July 15,1998 and Joined company (B) on July 20,1998. But company (A) never cancelled my H1B visa or I-129. Currently we had submitted Employment letter from company (B) hire date July 20,1998. There is 5 days gap in between company change because of Friday and weekend.
I would appreciate if someone knows "Does it will impact my GC while reviewing the reff. by IIO (INS)?
Whether I am out of status for 5 days?

I appreciate if someone can reply ASAP.
 
My guess is it will be overlooked.

Since the rfe is for Employment letter and pay slips ,
and you have sent both of them from your sponsoring company (B)
they will be satisfied and approve. I dont think they will further
look into dates .. anyway even if they sent a rfe for the gap,
I think there is some buffer while changing job ( some 10 days or so)
