My company filed for my labor from CA in Dec 2004 (priority date Dec 1) - now I am planning to move my application to PERM from April. The dilemna I am in is this:
My Company changed names from 'XYZ Corp' to 'ABC Corp' due to marketing reasons. We have not changed the Tax ID #, Address or anythign else. Nor will my prevailign wages, job descirption etc. is expected to change in the new filing. If that is true is this considered an identical application or not that I can convert to PERM keeping my existing priority date or do I have to do a fresh start. As stated we just changed names.
Any response in this regard would be appreciated.
