Landed in US 1996
Not started GC for first 3 years.
Switched to US based company and started GC , Lawyer didn't respond a RFE. The case got cancelled.
At the end of 4 year 9 months , Got a offer from current company and started GC even before joining them.
GC - started 2001 Jan
Labor approved March 2001
I only joined the company on april , so they applied I-140 only in May 2001. I-140 got approved within 3 months.
In mean time Moved to Houston, but didn't have all the documents. so I applied I-485 on Nov 14 th . RD - Dec 7 th 2001.
FP done on Jan 31 2002.
Issued RFE on May 12 th 2003 for all the family members.
Primary : employment letter, 6 pay slips.
Secondary : Never received.
Kid: TB testing.
Responded RFE on May 23 rd, Kids RFE on May 27 th.
In mean time received 2 nd FP notice , went a head and did a the FP on May 21 st.
After May 25 th Spouse online message changed from RFE to received your FP.....
Called the Lawyer and told them. She called them and informed about the problem on May 29 th.
When we were expecting RFE letter, Came from a meeting and checked the online at 4 CST.
Got the surprise that Myself and spouse case got approved.
Kid case is still old message.
Once again The company and the Lawyer did a great Job.
The response time of the legal department is super fast...
