Ref applied end of March. Case has been transfer to local INS? Any thought?

AVM on 4/5/02 said your case has been transfer to Local Office. Does any body know what\'s going on here. How long will it take to transfer from NSC to local? Usually, how long will it take to get any info from local INS? Or can I just walk in to ask the status?

Which city is that? I guess it normally takes 2-3 weeks for to transfer the documents.
