Reentry to US on different company's AP

Hi,
I am working on h1 with company "A" and also I am on 7th year extension. I recently got my canadian green card approved, so I need to enter into Canada for stamping. But my visa is expired.

I filed my GC thru another company "B" and recd Advance payrole.

When I am reentering US can I use the AP I recd thru company "B" ?

I haven't joined company "B" yet and I am still working with company "A" on their H1.

Pls advice.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your AP is not tied down to any company (B like you say).
AP is for the named individual.

Plus GC is ONLY for a future employment - so you should be able to re-enter using your AP (as long as its not expired when you reenter!! )
