Reentry Permit Approved - how to get it?

Hello,

My reentry permit was approved. I asked them for ability to pick it up from the US embassy in Europe (on the application I think there was a checkbox). Should I just try to contact the immigration section?

The reentry permit was approved on Jul 30th. How long does it take to get it delivered to US embassy?

Can you please post the details as to when you applied and how long it took? I am in the same boat myself, have applied for the Re-entry permit to be issued to me in India. Thanks.
 
The reentry permit took 1 year and 3 months.

How does the US embassy know my address in Europe? I did not put my address in Europe anywhere on the application. Did I screw up? And if so what would you advise?
 
In the application, there is an address which has to be given for where the Approval Notice has to be sent. You will probably get it if you have been at the same address since you applied for it.
You should contact the US Embassy/Consulate in your home country to find out whether they have your Re-entry Permit ready. All you need to give is the Application Receipt number and if they have it, you can make an appointment and go and pick it up.
