Reentry after out of status stay for about 1 1/2 months

My 1st H1 expired on jan 15th. I was in US till 6th Mar (out of status from 15th Jan to 6th Mar) and came to India after that.

During Jan 15 to Mar 6th I applied and got a new H1 approval and today got the visa stamped in India at the embassy.

The ticket agent at airline checkin counter in US did not take my I94.

Will I face any issues when I get back to US at the airport? Will they know that I was out of status? I will be coming back to Newark, NJ
