I have couple of questions and would appreciate for any help in answering them.
I have resigned company A and joined a Desi consulting company B 3 months back. My H1B Visa from Company A is valid till end of January 2007.
While working for Company B, my project has been closed from the client and I am searching for another job now.
I am thinking of going to INDIA for a vacation.
1. Is it possible to go for Stamping in end of November 2006, while my actual Visa is valid till end of January 2007.
2. I will be having the pay stub for Oct'2006 for 15 days only, as I need to search for another job. Is it OK to show this paystub, while going for Stamping in November in INDIA?
3. I am searching for another job right now. How long can I be in US, searching for another job, in case my employer 'B' does not generate new pay stubs, till I get a new client?
4. If I go to INDIA now, without having a new client and being with the Company B, and if I plan to come back 10 days prior to my Visa expiry from Company A, Is it fine or not? Is it fine, if I show my last pay stub generated for October 2006, which is for 15 working days only, at the Port of entry or not?
In case I don't get a new client withing next week or so, I am planning for a trip to INDIA.
So, Please advice me accordingly.
