Recvd letter from Mr. Honda

Folks I had sent an email or so to Congressman Honda. I got a letter and some forms from their office today....

Is that how it works? I fill out the forms and authorization and send copies of receipts to them?

Basically you need to authorize them to speak with INS about your case. So yes it will be good if you sign and mail the required documents ASAP.

Also, I would advise you to start a level 2 fax inquiry by yourself. Here are a couple of links that will get you started on it:

Since INS has not officially informed you that your name is undergoing this stupid name check, (imagine if you seriously were a terrorist, with your adjustee status you can actually stay in the country for another 18 months while they find out if you are a bad guy or not! Amazing efficiency. I would think that they would expedite the name check when in doubt), you should be able to trigger off fax inquires and get some sort of answer, or atleast prod their buttocks into doing something about your case.
