I applied for my GC in the EB1 category while working in the U.S on H1B. Subsequently I received my Canadian immigration and moved to Canada in 2002 as the GC process was getting delayed indefinitely. In the meantime I lost my job in the U.S and so could not go back on my H1B.
In 2003 my GC was approved and I then opted for consular Processing from Canada.
Now I have just received my packet 3.
For the past 2 years in Canada I have worked odd jobs as well as an independent consultant.
In the DS-230 form - section 22 requires my work history - What would be most appropriate regarding my Canadian work history.?
Also do I need a job offer from the U.S before my interview as my case is an EB1?
Has anyone gone through a similar situation. Please help.
