Approved on 07/07/2004.
Recvd Approval 07/13/2004

Received 3EAD card valid for 1 year and 485 Approval Courtesy copy by mail on th same day.

We will going for stamping next week after receiving original copy from the lawyer.Taking no chance since I have to goto Memphis, TN for stamping which is the nearest INS office for me 3 hours drive.

Waiting for Wife and Kids approval.

congrats! hope youe wife and kids will get the approval very soon.

seems to me that different IIOs worked on I-485 & EAD for your case
and at least the one working on EAD has no info about I-485 approval.

I did everything on paper thru a lawyer.
I filed my EAD paper in May, I should have done earlier anyway, we are lucky that we got it fast, because my wife and daughter's EAD is expiring on 3rd Aug and they are not yet approved.

485 Approved 07/07/2004, waiting for Wife and kids approval.

No. Not a single Govt. office in Kerala is willing to give NON-AVAILABILITY certificate. We tried even IG's office in Trivandrum.
 
1st thing you know that you have not registered the marriage ok.

What you should do is ask for copy of your marriage certificate from your local registar of marriage.

Since you have not registered your marriage
THEY WILL NOT FIND THE CERTIFICATE.

NOW ASK THEM TO GIVE THIS IN WRITING.

tHE FORMAT IS TYHE ONE WHICH I ATTACHED WITH MY EARLIER THREAD TO YOU.

I HOPE THIS IS CLEAR I AM SURE YOU CAN GET THE NON-AVAILIBITY CERTIFICATE.
I GOT IT THIS WAY IN DELHI.
 
I think your contact in India told that it is for USA, they are trying to extract money from your parents it seems.
