RFI : God knows when I will get it (according to USCSI they have mailed me on June 24, since people were lazy to mail, they have mailed me again on July 07).

A couple of questions.

1- Did you stamp your passport, before biometrics? Was it your National Passport?
2- About your friends, Jue is June? Did they stamp their passports?

Are we going to be required to stamp our passports? I thought we would receive our GC in the mail without going to stamp, please advise.

my friend who has his ND June/00 with FP May/04 and RFI March/05 and biometrics April/05 got a letter yesterday stating the approvment of his GC
this is a good news!

What is your "Recipt Date" for your I-485 application? I have my INS# to be LIN002315xxxx. Do you have the same first 5 number as me?
"00" refers to year 2000; "231" refers to the "Notice Date" for your application on that year; and the following number is different to everyone who has same "Notice Date" on that year. Thanks.

One suggestion: To keep this thread updated, please "refresh" the title line accordingly and put the latest RFI date with its ND.

As I know, the latest RFI's ND as of today is 07/2001 (except for a mistaken one on 04/2002).

1. I did stamp on my national Passport before the bio and after the I-485 approval. they took my travel Document back and stamped on the passport.

2, June, yes.but no back one year, mine is one year back

3, follow their dirrection only I think, even the lawyer said you didn't need to.

4, after May 2005, it seems faster but no one year back date.

First of all congratulations ... Questions for you DreamWork2:

1) Did you have your passaport since 1999 or did you renew it right before or after you got your I-485 approved?

2) They took your RTD right? So from now on you are supposed to use you country's passaport?

3) The passaport from my country usually expires in 5 years. what about yours? I never renewed mine. Tell us anything you might think that is important about using country's passaport and anything a lawyer might have said to you (if you had an attorney helping you to deal with this issue). I am saying all that because it seems that there are a lot conflicting info about using or not your contry's passaport AFTER you get approval of I 485.
