I would appreciate if anyone could please recommend a hotel withn walking distance of the US consulate in Chennai. My mother is appearing for her immigrant visa interview, and is a pure Vegetarian.

Crystal Residency is very close to Chennai COnsulate - directly opposit to consulate. They have room service. You will get Veg food too.
