I am having issues with my birth certificate name not matching my name in my documents. My parents changed my name unofficially when I was a child in India and never actually managed to get the gazette publication stuff done. I have been told that the way to resolve this is to get a civil court order from a court in India. Can some one recommend lawyers (or even a lawyer I can call up to find out the best way of going about this)? I tried through family but most of those lawyers look as if they would be good only if I had extremely specific things that need to be done.
