Reason No. 1
In 1997, the corporation I used to work for submitted all the necessary documents for labor certification to Fragomen. I was led to believe by Fragomen that labor certification application was filed. However, a year later they told me that my application was overlooked and and never filed.
Reason No. 2
They were not too familiar with RIR and I missed an opportunity there as well. So in June 1998, they applied for labor thru the traditional labor certification and it was approved after more than 3 years.
Reason No. 3
Their most recent screw-up is I-485 application itself. They sat on my application for more than 2 months and were not able to come up with a plausible explanation for the delay.
Reason No. 4:
They will talk to company representatives only and not to the applicants. Little do they realize that if it wasn’t for the applicants there wouldn’t be any business for them
Reason No. 5
Overall, I found that their services are very poor and they are hardly ever available in case of problems.
I can just go on and on about this but it is just not worth it.
Anyway, I am just frustrated like everyone else with the GC process. I came to US in 1992 as a grad. student and I still haven’t got my GC while people who are less qualified and who came after me got their GC’s.
Just screw it. I don’t want to talk about this anymore.

The reason I asked was bcos lot of people have faced problems with them. This is what I realized. You have to know the law and dictate them what to do. That is what i did and forced them at every step to do things to my liking. The problem is that they have paralegals looking at your case and a lawyer gets seldom involved. Also they are more committed to the company than the employee.

Understand your pain!! Unfortunately all big companies like, Lucent, PricewaterhouseCoopers, IBM, KPMG to name a few use FDBL. I am in the same boat as your are!! Just hang in there, I know its tuff, but things will work out!!

Go to http://www.martindale.com/ for finding the lawyer according to states.
This site rates the attorneys also.
BTW. As mentioned by feb2002case Anthony Siliato does have a very high rating !!
